Measuring Instructions
Using a tailor’s measuring tape, measure the circumference of your head approximately ½ to ¾ inch above your eyebrows, wrapping the tape around the back of your head at the point where you would like your hat to sit.
Please take this measurement three (3) separate times. It is normal to get slightly different results with each measurement. Do not average them. Instead, send me all three (3) measurements. As the saying goes: measure three times before you cut once.
If you do not have a tailor’s tape, you can use three (3) separate pieces of string. Follow the same measuring instructions above, making sure each piece of string fits snugly around your head the way you would like a well-made hat to fit. Then measure the length of each string with a ruler or tape measure.
Please send me all three (3) measurements, either in inches or centimeters.
