The Boss of Plains

When I think of old western hats I think of the Boss of the plains hat.So when I watch a western movie I look at the hats the cowboys are wearing and rarely do they wear authentic hats that match the time period. That ruins the movie for me. If you look at old photos of cowboys you can see the kinds of hats they wore and if you look at CM Russells paintings you would see the hats the cowboys wore. CM Russell worked as a cowboy when he was younger so he knew first hand the wardrobe of a cowboy.
